Our journey began when a group of individuals with a shared love for chess came together, representing a wide spectrum of backgrounds and professions. Each member brought a unique perspective to the table, whether it was knowledge about chess, passion for teaching or devotion towards society. This Godly planned flair led us to find a common bond in the intricate game of chess.
Under the soothing environment at Cup Of Joy cafe, we realized that chess was more than just a pastime; it was a source of joy, challenge, and unity. Inspired by this shared passion, we founded the Uttarakhand Sports Federation (UKSF), where our mission is to unite people from all walks of life through the universal language of chess. Our society has evolved into a diverse community that hosts inclusive tournaments, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels. Through chess, we believe in breaking down barriers, transcending backgrounds, and creating connections that endure.

Mr. S.P. Agarwal is a retired GM from BHEL, Haridwar. He plays a pivotal role within our team as a Mentor. His impressive academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Ph.D. in Veda in 2019, signifying his dedication to the study of this ancient and profound field of knowledge.
Amit Chauhan, our Vice President, is a prominent figure within our team. His extensive experience and leadership capabilities are instrumental in steering our organization to new heights.
Dr. Mukul Benjwal is a dedicated and multifaceted team member, bringing a unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion to UKSF. Being a physician and having enormous passion towards chess confirms that chess is for all.
Our esteemed team member, Mr. Rahul Batra, holds a pivotal role as the Secretary of (UKSF). With a background as a dedicated educator, he brings a wealth of pedagogical expertise to our organization.
Naresh Mittal, our diligent Media Incharge, plays a critical role in our team's success. With a profound understanding of media management and a keen eye for effective communication, Naresh ensures that our message reaches the right audience.
