Uttarakhand Sports Federation ("us," "we," or "our") is committed to providing a fair and transparent refund policy for participants of our chess tournaments. Please read this policy carefully before registering for any tournament. By participating, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

1. Registration Fee Refund Conditions

Registration fees for our tournaments will not be refunded under the following circumstances:

• Absence: If a participant is absent on the scheduled tournament date, for any reason, including but not limited to personal commitments, scheduling conflicts, or travel issues.
• Illness: If a participant falls ill and is unable to participate in the tournament on the provided date.
• Any Other Unforeseen Condition: If a participant is unable to join the tournament due to any other unforeseen condition or circumstance.

Under these conditions, the registration fee will not be returned.

2. Refunds in Case of Tournament Cancellation

Uttarakhand Sports Federation reserves the right to cancel a tournament in certain circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient participant registrations, technical difficulties, or unforeseen events. In the event of a tournament cancellation from our side, we will issue a full refund of the registration fee to all participants who have registered for that specific tournament.
